The Days of Unleavened Bread are a commanded feast to remind us of the vital need to actively work at removing sin from our lives. We must strive to bring our bodies into subjection and pursue spiritual unleavenedness with diligence and commitment.

It is important to review the final hours of Jesus Christ's life leading up to his crucifixion and understand the great love of God shown through His sacrifice. It emphasizes the importance of properly appreciating this sacrifice as we partake of the Passover.

True worship of God requires having His Spirit, understanding His truth, and living that truth with sincerity and honesty. Eliminating sin (leaven) and purging malice, wickedness, hypocrisy, and anything insincere from our lives allows the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth to reside in us.

God wants us to understand exactly what He did and why He did it for us. It is a very serious commandment to enter this time in the correct frame of mind. This requires that we assess what we are doing in and with our lives so we can determine where change or improvement is needed. And follow that determination with action.

The tremendous sacrifice of Christ made our redemption possible. As we examine the mind of Christ, we learn more about this sacrifice and how we should respond to it.

Christianity is highly misunderstood. Humans have attempted to improve upon God nonstop throughout time. This ultimately rendered most forms of religion irrelevant. We should be careful to follow what Christ and His disciples taught. True christianity is about changing to find our relevance to God rather than His relevance to us. 

As spring comes around, farmers begin to rededicate themselves to what is required in sowing the ground for a good harvest. Likewise, as the spring holy days come around, we must be rededicating and re-examining ourselves to make sure we yield good harvest.

The Bible has much to say about what is to come. We must seek understanding and respond to God's plan as per scriptures, recognizing signs of Jesus Christ's return, and preparing for prophesied events

We live in times of stress. What does that mean for us? It doesn't mean we can make an excuse not to do what God instructs us to do. We must still take responsibility for how we think and act. A Christian is to be a man or woman of tremendous responsibility.

The substance of our faith is found within our hope. Without hope, there cannot be faith.

2 Peter 3:18 tells us that it is important to know, and grow in, the scriptures. Why is this? What benefits does this provide to ourselves and to those around us?

When you hear certain names, good things probably come to mind. Likewise, other names bring bad connotations. How are you doing with your name's reputation? What does God think about your name?

Mary Lou Retton achieved impressive accomplishments in this physical life with her olympic medals but has found with time and health struggles how temporary all of that is. Faith, hope, and glory when viewed from God's perspective, is far less temporary.

When it comes to your life, who has more control? God or Satan? Or perhaps the better questions is, which one do you allow to have more control over your life?

Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness? It is important to seek after God's promises and way of life to find lasting joy and fulfillment.

How much time and thought do you give to the subject of faith? Faith provides peace, strength, and guidance, especially during challenging times. It requires consistency in prayer and obedience to God's word to work.

As we look around at current events, the end times feel all the more closer. Are we preparing our children for these times? It is important that we equip them now with a strong moral compass.

What was the cost for Noah to build the arc? It was not just money or labor. Noah invested his life into the job God gave him to do, and he finished that job. We need the same investment and commitment.

The way we act now will shape who we are tomorrow. If we look back and see how we were compared to how we are now, are we where we want to be? What changes need to be made for further growth moving forward?

Fear is an enemy of faith. Faith enables us to face our fears and see things which are invisible to others.

From time to time, we may feel afraid. This does not have to paralyze or stop us however. The question is how we deal with this fear. With faith in God, we can overcome our fears.

The Columbia was a shuttle which tore apart when reentering the atmosphere, resulting in the death of its seven passengers. One of the people on this shuttle was Jewish and had spent some time prior to going into space trying to determine how he would keep the Sabbath in outer space. We are told to count it all joy when we fall into trials (James 1:2). This is counter to the carnal mind. What joy can we have while grieving? How are we able to find it?

People desire that everyone can live in success and happiness. Many believe voting is a means to accomplish this. On face value, what the politicians say they want generally sounds great. But it has a fatal flaw: human reasoning. The list of tragic events happening around the world only continues to grow over time. What is God's view of these leaders we have now?

Our focus should be on the permanent home of God's eternity. That is our hope and goal as we run our race during this time. We currently can only see the shadow of what is to come. As we study and follow, this shadow becomes clearer, but we use these days look forward to the time where we see the full event itself rather than just the shadow.

At what age did you become aware of your own existence? How about the age you became aware of God and His laws? At what age does God consider us accountable for our actions?

If Satan is the current ruler of the world, in what way would we see the world as God's? Does God want us to be involved in the politics of this world? Today we examine how God views our political system and what our roles should be therein.

Society today values personal accomplishment and physical possessions over others. This is profoundly different from what God desires. This can make it more difficult for us to find motivation in our lives. What should we be considering while looking for motivation?

Google claims there are 2.8 billion people who practice "some form" of Christianity. What does God think about this? Can we partially do what the Bible says? God gave us the law and grace. Both are needed and both work together.
